Day Ten

1:58 PM

Last day!!

I can't believe how fast this trip as flown by. It seems like just yesterday we were just sitting in the Dana building in Ann Arbor submitting the BMP application. We headed to the school 9am with Euton and finished up on all three of the projects. It was so sad packing and cleaning up the computer room after we finished after spending so much time working together through the laughter and the tears. At the end of the day, the teachers organized a End-of-the-Trip ceremony for us! It was so precious, and we got to present all the projects that we worked on in the past 10 days in front of all the students and the teachers. We talked about how much we enjoyed our time being here, and also, our great ideas for projects in the future. It was so rewarding seeing the kids get excited about the new projects we just finished. We couldn't keep them away from playing with the soccer goals, writing on the whiteboards, and helping with solar dehydrator testing!! The people in Hagley Gap are honestly the nicest people I have ever met in my life, and I can't believe now it is time to say goodbye. We also received keychains, lanyards, and wrist bands. We will keep them dearly in memory of this life changing trip.

Finished football goals

Finished solar dehydrator
